Titan Fighting Championship 53 took place at the Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 15. Main Event was headlined by defending champion Juan Puerta and challenger, Gustavo Balart.
Juan Puerta vs. Gustavo Balart – for Titan FC flyweight title – Fight did not take place due to Puerta testing positive for cannabis. The Florida Boxing Commission doesn’t test for levels, just for its presence in the blood stream. Florida has a Zero tolerance policy for illegal substances found in the fighters blood.
