Dr. Abbasi serves as ringside physician for professional MMA and Boxing events, as well as being the Official Team Physician for Palm Beach State College Panthers Athletics. Dr. David Abbasi is a Double Board Certified and Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery.

He also is very active with social media and has been referenced and interviewed by many of the top sports entertainment media personalities and channels, sports medicine shows, and podcasts. In addition, he serves as a ringside physician for the top professional boxing and mixed martial arts events and promotions including the UFC.
