Florida Decides on UFC Fighter of 2019

Exactly 356 fighters fought in the UFC for 2019, averaging 1 fighter per day. From those 356 fighters there was only 1 fighter who fought 5 x’s for the UFC in 2019. Which is damn impressive because this ex football player made his Ultimate Fighting Championship promotional debut against Allen Crowder on January 19, 2019.

But as marketing would go, the focus on Hardy was short lived for 2 reasons. 1) He’s NOT from Florida and 2) A Florida Fighter was getting ready to claim to title of being the Baddest Mother Fucker on the planet!

Without a doubt Jorge Masvidal had a great year in the UFC, not only beating Nate Diaz for the BMF Belt, but Masvidal went undefeated with a 3-0 record for 2019.

Then there is Kamaru Usman, another Florida based Fighter who hasn’t lost a fight since 2013. In 2019 he went undefeated with a record of 2-0 winning Colby Covington and Tyron Woodley. His nomination is also well deserved.

Then you have the deniable Mike Perry who fought 3x’s in 2019. Despite ending the year with a record of 1-2, he was given the bonus of “Fight Of The Night” for two UFC events in 2019. His dedication and willingness to fight anyone at anytime, is well deserving of the nomination.

Niko Price is a repeat nomination from 2018 and now in 2019. After going undefeated (9-0) as an amateur, Price made his professional UFC debut in February 2012. Before joining the UFC Price amassed a record of 8-0 with 7, of his 8 wins coming by stoppages. Niko ends the year with 3 fights with a record of 2-1

Then there is Gilbert Burns, going undefeated for 2019 with a record of 3-0. Burns is on a 4 fight winning streak since 2018.

But with all that said, it’s the Florida Fans who will decide the winner and who will walk away with the title of Florida’s Favorite Fighter. Make your voice heard and vote for YOUR favorite UFC Florida Fighter for 2019.
